September 2, 2026, 6-7 pm: Roadmap to Great Books (for GBK 101 students only)

Please join us to meet the other GBK 101 students, the GBK Student Council, several GBK faculty, and hear more about the history of the program and future courses.

September 23, 2026, 6-7 pm, The Odyssey

An engaging talk by Dr. Charlotte (Charlie) Thomas, Professor of Philosophy and former Great Books Director. Description coming soon.

October 16, 2026, 4-6 pm, The Great Books Games

Join us for the annual Great Books Field Day! Choose a patron deity and compete in your classes with a shield, chant, skit, costumes, and (silly) games and see who prevails. Who will be the best GBK section?
